DPI and sensitivity: why percent confuses everyone
Fortnite sensitivity is shown as X axis percent and Y axis percent, not a multiplier like CS2. Your physical speed is still DPI times that percent times a game constant. Most Fortnite pros keep X and Y equal. If Y is higher, vertical building feels faster but aim can feel inconsistent. Why Fortnite pros avoid ultra high sens
Building and editing reward precision. A very high sens makes 90s and retakes fast but causes over edits and missed piece placement. The pro sweet spot is 32 to 58 cm/360, low enough for steady box fights, high enough for smooth 180s.
